RENAL ACTION VOLUNTEER PROGRAM CENTER
DIRECT VOLUNTEERING
This volunteer category will work directly with patients at hemodialysis clinics and at the Foundation.

Entertaining Games
Volunteers will be carrying out entertaining activities by using a box of games to be played with patients as they undergo hemodialysis.
Cultural Briefcase
Additional volunteers, in addition to the present Evangelical Hospital volunteer team, will offer books, magazines and newspapers, help in writing letters, story telling and so on.
Personal Appearance Team
Volunteers, along with the Evangelical Hospital volunteer team, will look after the appearance of patients (haircuts, shaving, trimming nails, etc.).
Support Project
Volunteers will help visually impaired patients as well as those with mobility difficulties to access hemodialysis rooms. They will offer help in feeding them and accompanying them to the mobility course.
INDIRECT VOLUNTEERING - THEME COMMISSIONS
This volunteer category will perform its activities at the foundation or outside, raising funds to make all of the proposed activities possible.

Birthday Commission
Over a two-month period, commission members will be planning and raising funds for birthday partys to be held every two months at hemodialysis units.
Tours Commission
Commission members will contact partners in the community to organize leisure activities in various parts of the city for patients and their families.
Social Events Commission (bazaars and fundraising bingos)
This commision will work along with the Curitiba society to organize fundraising activities for the volunteer program.
Cultural Commision
A partnership with the Cultural Foundation provides an opportunity for artistic events to be performed at clinics and the Foundation. The commision will select events and stimulate participation
Citizenship Commision (attorneys)
The legal work that has been done will continue. There will be a broadening of welfare revisions for chronic renal patients through the inclusion of more volunteers from the legal area.
INDIRECT VOLUNTEERING - INSTITUTIONAL PARTNERSHIPS
This volunteer category is made up of institutions which believe in the cause of chronic renal patients and the Foundation. They will provide funds aimed at improving the quality of life of renal patients.
