Pro – Renal Foundation of Brazil – Supporting research in Renal and Metabolic Diseases
Statutory Aim: Scientific Research and assistance to renal patients and their relatives. This is a non-profitable Organization maintained with private sources.
These are the Foundation departments:
- General Assembly;
- Board of Directors;
- Executive Committee;
- Auditing Board.
General Assembly is the ruling sector at the Foundation.
The General Assembly competence is to be aware, up to March 31 of each year, of the annual report, finances and the balance sheet of the previous fiscal year.
The Board of Directors competence is to suggest relevant issues for the Foundation activities.
The Executive Committee competence is to analyze the accounting books and documentation as well as to check the financial situation.
The Auditing Board competence is to:
- Assure and regulate by its power the functioning of the Foundation;
- Approve, up to December 31 st of each year, the chronogram of activities for the next year;
- Follow the chronogram of activities, reassuring its execution.
The Chairman competence is to:
- Enforce the statute, bylaws and the statements pronounced by the Assembly and the Curator, Directive and Scientific Councils;
- Run and supervise the services of the Foundation;
- Present every six months to the Directive Council the partial balance sheet of the accounts with the information and the summary of the activities that are done and those still on execution.
