It is relevant to remark that the Pro-Renal Foundation has given assistance to chronic renal patients who come from 136 cities in the state of Paraná and 06 other Brazilian states, attending approximately 2.000 families. Those are families who earn up to ½ of the minimum wage per capita monthly and present a more extreme vulnerability to risks of health.
Besides social benefits the Foundation provides complete support to ambulatory patients on dialysis (hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis), to those who are waiting for transplant and to the transplanted ones, giving the necessary support in order to undergo the treatment. The patients who come to Pro-Renal looking for treatment present more often the following illnesses:
